At Bang & Olufsen Scottsdale, some projects go far beyond installing premium audio and video, they become personal journeys. One such story is that of longtime client Paul VanLoon, whose Sedona residence, set against the breathtaking red rocks, is the embodiment of a lifelong dream shaped by family, heritage, and a deep love for Bang & Olufsen.
Paul’s connection to Bang & Olufsen began decades ago, rooted in his Danish family history. Growing up, visits to relatives in Denmark left a lasting impression. B&O receivers, televisions, and speakers filled their homes, quietly defining what great sound and design should be. That early exposure sparked a passion that never faded.
After serving in the Navy, Paul made a decisive shift, moving away from the Japanese audio system he had acquired and investing in his first Bang & Olufsen setup: a Beomaster 1900 paired with RL140 speakers. From there, his collection and appreciation for the brand only grew.
Today, his Sedona home is a stunning showcase of modern Bang & Olufsen performance. The residence features one of the first blacked-out black oak Beovision Harmony televisions paired with BeoLab 50s, creating a powerful yet elegant focal point that complements the dramatic desert landscape. BeoLab 28s deliver refined sound in the bedroom, while smaller B&O speakers bring seamless audio to every room, including the garage.

The home also reflects thoughtful integration beyond sound and vision. Outdated window shades were replaced with Lutron, improving comfort, control, and aesthetics throughout the space. Watt Integration ensured that everything works together effortlessly.
Bang & Olufsen Scottsdale continues to support Paul as his vision evolves. Plans are already underway to return and upgrade the casita on the property, ensuring that every space reflects the same level of performance, design, and emotional connection.

For Paul, this isn’t just about technology, it’s about honoring his roots and finally living the dream he imagined as a kid. And for Bang & Olufsen Scottsdale powered by Watt Integration, it’s a privilege to help bring that dream to life, one beautifully crafted system at a time.
