Martin goes on to say that Bang & Olufsen systems are “as much art as they are speakers.” Visitors at his home now often mistake them for sculptures or architectural pieces until the sound reveals itself.
During his renovation, Martin removed the original ceiling speakers and replaced them with B&O products that double as aesthetic features. “It completely changed the aesthetic of the house while giving us fidelity we never had before,” he says
Discovering Watt Integration
Martin was first introduced to Watt Integration through Bryan. “We originally connected through horses,” he shares, “but the conversation quickly moved from riding to speakers, lighting, and technology.” That relationship grew into a full collaboration on home automation, lighting, and integrated systems. “Brian opened my eyes to what was possible in a home,” Martin notes. “He showed us that technology could be beautiful and effortless.”
Lighting as Design
One of the most surprising elements for Martin was lighting and all that it could do for his space and home. “I never thought lighting would have such an impact,” he admits. “From the gallery hallway to the fireplace, the lighting added depth and emotion to the home,” Martin says. “It felt extravagant at first, but now I can’t imagine the house without it.”
