Robert’s journey with music began in childhood, inspired by his grandmother, a talented concert pianist. He fondly recalls attending a Dave Brubeck concert with her, a performance that turned out to be Brubeck’s final one.  “That night changed me,”Robert shares.

That spark quickly grew into a lifelong pursuit. Robert picked up the drums, pouring himself into the rhythm and soul of jazz. His dedication paid off when he earned top honors at the New York International Jazz Band Festival at just 18 years old. But even with such early accolades, Robert’s love for jazz never faded. 

“For me, vinyl jazz records aren’t just music..they’re living history. To experience them fully, you need a system that can honor their depth and richness.”
