Field Installation Technician

What you would do

• Rough-in and trim-out for audio, video, lighting control, shading and network systems in occupied and under-construction homes.
• Build and dress equipment racks — cable management that reads as intentional, because clients see the rack.
• Mount and align displays, projectors and speakers; calibrate to the room, not to the spec sheet.
• Terminate, test and label network and low-voltage runs; leave documentation the next technician can follow.
• Commission systems with the client present and hand them something they can actually operate.
• Return for service calls on your own work — the person who installs it sees it through.

What we are looking for

• Hands-on low-voltage, AV, IT or electrical experience — trade school, another integrator, or a genuinely relevant adjacent trade.
• Comfort on a ladder, in an attic, and in a client's living room on the same day.
• Tidiness that borders on compulsive. This is the non-negotiable one.
• A valid Arizona driver's license and a clean driving record.
• The judgment to stop and ask rather than improvise on a finished wall.
• The ability to pass a background check, licensing check, and drug screening.

Nice, not required

• Bang & Olufsen, Lutron, or comparable manufacturer training.
• Network configuration beyond plug-and-play — VLANs, managed switches, enterprise Wi-Fi.
• Home theater calibration experience.
• Experience working alongside builders, architects and interior designers on active job sites.
